The Author

Dr Ruchira Somaweera is a postdoctoral analysis fellow on the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Analysis Organisation (CSIRO) of Australia. His analysis work broadly focuses on the ecology and conservation of tropical reptiles, particularly crocodilians and sea snakes. He's additionally a managing director of Aaranya Wilderness Odysseys that conducts specialised wildlife expeditions in Indonesia.
